We wanted to give you an update on "Mad Vision", our cause in Madagascar, where Jonathan and Mandy Casurella are partnering with the Malagasy people to bring about health and healing in the community.
Yesterday, Jonathan and Mandy (with son Oliver and baby boy on the way) arrived in Paris, France. They have been traveling the states for the last few months, raising support and saying final goodbyes, as their next trip to Madagascar will be a permanent one. For the next year they will be in language school in France, working to become fluent in order to better communicate and care for the Malagasy people.
Here is an excerpt from their recent blog: "We are officially registered to begin French classes on January 4. We will be attending a small language school in Massy, a suburb outside of Paris. You may be wondering, what about Madagascar? Madagascar is still our final destination and our plans for ministry are the same, however the route has changed. Learning French is an invaluable resource in the practice of medicine in Madagascar and will broaden the scope in which we can live and practice."
They appreciate your prayers and ongoing support through Art4Causes during this time of transitions.
Have a Happy New Year!
Bonne Anne'e from France!
